Barcelona, 22-23 May 2019 : Feedback on the preparation for ‘The Summit of Two Shores’

Mayssa Allani, project assistant at IPEMED, participated in Union for the Mediterranean Regional Dialogue entitled “Shared views on key issues in the Mediterranean”, held in Barcelona on 22-23 May 2019.
This event was an opportunity to discuss the priorities of the Euro-Mediterranean Region, notably key challenges in the fields of sustainable develoment, environment, water, energy and education as a tool to empower women and youth.
Roundtables on the regional dialogue’s key themes centered on the role that different stakeholders (youth organizations, CSOs, institutions and international/regional agencies, …) play in promoting participation and opportunities to develop new projects and initiatives that tackle key issues in the Euro-Mediterranean.
