Mediterranean Talks adjourned – Istanbul - February 2012.

The goal of the Mediterranean Talks is to foster dialogue between political leaders, heads of business and academic experts from all round the region.

Due to the economic and political uncertainty hanging over both the North and South Mediterranean, IPEMED, in agreement with its partners, has decided to postpone organizing the next event, which was due to take place in Istanbul on 8 and 9 February 2012, backed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

More than ever, IPEMED and its partners are committed to the principle of gathering political, economic and academic spheres to work for regional integration in a geographic area in which Turkey plays a significant role.
