Barcelona, 3 July 2017 - Signature of a partnership agreement between IPEMED and the UfM

During the Senior’s Official’s meeting of UfM (Union for the Mediterranean), that took place on 3 July in Barcelona, Fathallah Sijilmassi and Jean-Louis Guigou signed a partnership agreement regarding the initiative carried by IPEMED on North African industrialisation.
In the framework of this project, the priority topics focus on 3 issues:
- Increasing industrial development through coproduction;
- Implementing public-private partnerships to favour infrastructure development;
- Securing national and international investments in North Africa.
This triennial agreement is an application of the Memorandum of understanding that was signed on 4 May 2015 between the UfM Secretariat and IPEMED.
