IPEMED resumes its Mediterranean breakfasts in partnership with Bpifrance and La Tribune

Published : Thursday 01 September 2016

On Thursday 1st September 2016, the Mediterranean World Economic Foresight Institute (IPEMED), represented by its President Jean-Louis Guigou, La Tribune, represented by its managing editor Philippe Mabille, and Bpifrance, represented by Pascal Lagarde, signed a partnership agreement on the organisation of the “Mediterranean and African breakfasts”. These breakfasts will intend to discuss, in Paris, the economic and prospective situation of the Mediterranean and Africa. With 4 events a year, the first breakfast will be co-organised on 4th October 2016 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am in the premises of Bpifrance on the following topic: “How to boost industrialisation in North Africa (from Morocco to Egypt)?”.

For three years, IPEMED regularly organised breakfasts dedicated to IPEMED’s founding members; it then opened them to the press and to economic actors that were interested in the Mediterranean. The objective was to provide a positive perspective on the Mediterranean. From now on, this process is resuming under the form of a partnership and with a will to broaden the topics to Africa.
