Amman, March 30 and 31, 2017, Women’s Socio-economic conference

IPEMED, in cooperation with the French Chamber of commerce and Industry in Jordan (CAFRAJ), UN Women , the World Bank and the EBRD (EUROPEAN BAK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT) ; organized on March 30th and 31th, 2017, in Amman, a high-level conference dedicated to the women’s empowerment.

The conference was supported by a number of companies including Arab Potash, Orange, Markazia-Toyota Jordan, Al Manaseer Group, Bank AL-Itihad, Hikma Pharmaceuticals,  Al-Kaseeh company and factories.

This conference had for objective to work on the strengthening of the role of the women in Jordan, and to create for that purpose a dialogue between French, European and Jordanian personalities.

The conference was a big success.
