Interview of Minister Moulay Hafid Elalamy on co-production in Morocco and on the COP22

As part of the launching of the Mediterranean and African breakfast meetings, in Paris, on 4th October 2016, Minister Moulay Hafid Elalamy talked about industrialisation in North Africa.

Moulay Hafid Elalamy is currently the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy of Morocco. He agreed to answer our questions on co-production and industrialisation in Morocco.

He answered the following questions for IPEMED:

  • As the Minister of Industry, could you tell us about the current industrial dynamics in Morocco?
  • How could co-production with European countries boost industrialisation in Morocco and more generally in North Africa?
  • After the COP21 that was held in Paris, the COP22 will take place in Marrakesh from 7th to 18th November 2016. What do you expect from this international conference?
