Algiers, 8 April: Feedback on the Mediterranean Energy Forum

As part of the preparations of the landmark « Summit of Two Shores » which will take place in June 24 in Marseille and bring together Heads of State of the 5 + 5 countries, 8 a forum on Energy took place in Algiers on April 8, 2019.
300 professionals from businesses, associations and NGOs proposed projects, methods and points of view, some of which will be selected for presentation at the Summit of the Two Shores.
Jean-Louis Guigou, President of IPEMED, presented his project for the creation of a Mediterranean Energy Community (CME), comparable to what was the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) created in 1951 by France and Germany and then extanded to six European countries.
