IPEMED, stakeholder of the COP21

Published : Monday 23 November 2015

Energy transition and fight against climate change rise numerous and complex challenges for Mediterranean countries. This should not be only considered as a climatic threat but also as an opportunity of enhancing economic cooperation between countries situated on both shores of the Mediterranean. this is the strong message that IPEMED will carry during the COP21.

This message will be addressed through different axes during the conferences the Institute organizes. They will tackle the issues of the interest of a regional approach on the fight against climate change, of the necessity of setting up coproductions dynamics and developing North-South industries on new sectors with great potential of development. It will also be the moment to present innovative ideas allowing to improve access to water and sanitation and to limit climate change effects in the region.
