Our projects
Since its creation, IPEMED has been advocating a regional integration of the two shores of the Mediterranean through the economy.
After having developed hypotheses for 2030, IPEMED focused its works on the Euro-Mediterranean convergence scenario that advocates a deep integration through the geographic reallocation of production, the sharing of value (coproduction process) and the codevelopment of industries, in order to boost the region’s competitiveness.
In this regard, IPEMED identified sectors and industries with a strong integration potential. The Institute takes action, brings its expertise and offers recommendations in these fields. Since 2014, IPEMED has also been advocating a new opening towards Sub-Saharan Africa, that would change the conception of the Mediterranean from a marginal region to a central one. This could be done by building a great Africa - Mediterranean - Europe region, through the AME Foundation project.
The Institute thus confirms its position of think and act tank by reinforcing its capacity to go from reflection to action, to support a Mediterranean in motion.
