The meeting held at the Institute of the Arab World (Paris), on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015, organized by Select Maghreb, in partnership with Audact, highlighted diaspora talents and networks boosting the economy and entrepreneurship, here and abroad. The main objective of the meeting was, as usual, to create bridges between the various professional networks, favour synergies and enhanced these networks and talents that we have little the opportunity to hear.

Macarena Nuno, IPEMED(s project officer, participated in the first round table “Contribution and synergy between networks”, moderated by Nadia Henni-Moulaï, founder of Meltingbook, and Smail Chertouk, essayist. Representatives of the following networks also participate :  Maroc entrepreneursATUGEATLASChambre algérienne de commerce et d’industrieCONECTForum des experts libanais.

For IPEMED it was a renew opportunity :
- to remind the change of look of public institutions, in particular those from southern Mediterranean, towards their residents abroad, considered more and more as "skills", "talents", even "ambassadors" of their country abroad;
- to inform about the necessity of encouraging more economic mobility through a “more secured journey” of economic migrants (making easier labour market access, continuity and portability of certain rights, multi-annual working visas, etc.) and
- to participate in an event promoting these networks, privileged and essential actors in the construction of a more integrated Mediterranean region.
