Kelly ROBIN
IPEMED was a partner of the 10th edition of the Pollutec Maroc fair that took place from 2 to 5 October 2018, in Casablanca.
A fair on environmental equipment, technologies and services, Pollutec Maroc is a place to meet peers and share projects and knowledge among Moroccan, African and international actors.
In this regard, IPEMED helped, along with the ADEME and in partnership with Cécile CARLIER, organise and lead a series of conferences in the Espace Afrique [African space]:
• Tuesday 2 October, 2pm-4pm: What potential for waste water?
• Wednesday 3 October, 10am-12am: Innovation, biotechnologies and “nature-based solutions”
• Wednesday 3 October, 2pm-4pm: Sustainable agriculture: reinventing production and consumption models
• Thursday 4 October, 10am-12am: What socio-economic potential for waste?
• Thursday 4 October, 2pm-4pm: Renewable energies and energy efficiency
• Friday 5 October, 10am-12am: Governance and new actors at the service of the sustainable development of African territories.
In total, this Espace welcomed over fifteen leading figures, from Senegal - as guest country - Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger, Mauritania, etc.
The Espace Afrique of the Pollutec Maroc fair thus confirmed its role of interface between European, Moroccan and African industrials, ministerial representatives and researchers.
