The choice of trust – 2014 Activity report
Since its creation, IPEMED has been striving for regional integration of the two shores of the Mediterranean, mainly through economy. In 2014, the Institute strengthened its position of think and act tank by reinforcing its capacity to turn reflection into action, to support the Mediterranean in motion. This new edition of the annual activity report proves it.
Key words for 2014 were, on the one hand, "to be operational" by accompanying public and private actors who work for regional integration, by encouraging the pragmatism of our reflections and by offering them an efficient political support. On the other hand, it was about making the "Mediterranean region become a central region again" within the emerging world region that is “La Verticale”, composed of sub-Saharan Africa, the Maghreb and Europe.
In 2014, territories had a special place in IPEMED’s works due to partnerships developed with certain French regions. And also thanks to the launching of the Observatory of the coproduction, which objective is to analyze, accompany and promote this dynamic in the region.
In this new version of the annual activity report, available in English and in French, you will find information on the ongoing reflections, the studies carried out and the events organized as well as on the media fallouts from the lobbying action of IPEMED.
